Always exciting to work on materials for events I support. Vision Events Managent has me update and design materials for the Madison Mini Marathon, Rock n' Sole Half Marathon, Drumstick Dash, O'Hare 5k and Lucky Leprechaun races.

I love using reclaimed materials whenever possible. There is true beauty in materials that stand the test of time and show their life in a beautiful patina. These are 4 reclaimed Elm rough sawn benches I made for a client using them in a retail (shoe) store. The bases are welded steal legs with plastic caps.

Lab Midwest had an outdated logo and wanted a new one incorporating some of the elements from the original. I recreated the plumb line and used that element to update the overall look for their new company logo. http://labmidwest.com/

Mike & Erin's Save the Date & Wedding Invite. The Save the Date photo is a beautiful shot of the proposal. The original was out of focus so I refocused it in Photoshop by combining multiple layers and blending them to refocus it
The Paukner invites for Jessica & Steve turned out great. The concept was a tear-off system where there were multiple versions sent out to wedding guests. You then could tear off the response card and wedding info. Jess & Steve had a beautiful barn wedding in the country.
This was such a fun project to work on with Preston & Stephanie. These are wedding invites that fold into themselves to ship out, no envelopes necessary. They also used a wedding website to cut down on response cards & wedding info details.
I must like large pieces of furniture that are just barely manageable with 1 person. This was a fun project for a family in our neighborhood. Custom breakfast nook- bench, table and bench. The benches tops open up to allow a ton of room for storage. The bench slides in under the table making a smaller kitchen more manageable while allowing more than enough room for the whole family to eat together. Built with Oak and birch plywood, painted with Benjamin Moore Aura paint which is fantastic for cleaning.
A friend of mine wanted a custom wedding bench for her wedding. After making the initial one I loved the idea of having a unique way for guests to sign something aside from a book. After wood-burning the top with the info, guests can sign this and it's a great keepsake for many years to come. These are built out of cedar, usually about 4' in length. Check them out here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/221611688/cedar-wedding-bench-custom-made-and?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=wedding%20bench&ref=sr_gallery_3
One of my larger builds to date. This was a custom built locker for a mudroom in a newly built home. All solid wood construction with a wainscoting backer. The galvanized handles and coat hooks were all painted a similar grade of gray as the galvanized parts. Solid Oak top stained to match the floors in the other rooms.
